What we offer

Our collections consultation service is a great opportunity for us to learn about your business, your expectations and your current processes so that we can create a tailor made debt recovery package which enables us to recover your debts effectively whilst ensuring we compliment your current credit control team. Building a robust relationship with you and your credit control team is really important to us, this will ensure we operate as an extension of your current processes so that that we are meeting and ideally exceeding your expectations.

How it works

We will work with you to set parameters for the time your collection case is with us, as well as providing you with strategic advice regarding litigation. Ideally, the cases become our responsibility and our team are trained to put the onus on the debtor for their requests for further information, rather than asking you for information that has more than likely been sent to the debtor on numerous occasions prior to our instruction. Alternatively we can work with you and your team on a case by case basis.

With various collection options available to you our service is the perfect extension to your credit control team whilst being an effective escalation of action to your customer. Our access to exclusive credit information gives us the ability to change collection strategy according to new information. Efficient & Instant Instruction Processes.

We accept instructions in most formats. For your ease and for the most efficient response times we suggest a CSV file so that data can be quickly exported from your system and imported to ours. As soon as the account is loaded onto our system, your customer is contacted for payment.

Dedicated Account Manager & Collection Operatives

We understand it is important that you receive a seamless service and for that reason you will receive regular reviews with your dedicated account manager, agreed in advance with you. Your assigned collection operative will be briefed on your requirements, your business and the agreed process and guidelines for dealing with your cases.

Live & Easily Accessible Updates

Live access to our progress reports means you and your credit control team can access real-time updates on each case, whenever and wherever you need to. Every contact and attempted contact is updated onto the progress report for you to access.

Bespoke Reporting

We can develop bespoke collection activity reporting for you to access giving you the ability to see how much has been collected, including statutory charges and our overall success rates. You can also benefit from seeing the reason a case has not been collected, providing you with an opportunity to review any internal processes that may be impacting the collection rate.

Legal Action

Using our trusted partners, we can instruct a law firm on your behalf, by either using the parameters set by you or by providing our recommendations on a case by case basis. We can instruct and manage the case on your behalf. Ensuring the solicitors act quickly and have all the information they need to make good litigation decisions. Alternatively, you can take the case back once collection activity has stopped to instruct your own solicitors.

Disputes

In circumstances where the debts are disputed our dispute resolution team will draw on their expertise to ensure they achieve the best possible results for you and your business.

Retention Collections

We understand that due to the long periods of time between contracts completing and when retention money becomes due plus the lengthy process of chasing the money and getting it released, collecting retention money usually appears low on the priority list or can even be forgotten.

From working in the construction industry for 30 years, collecting retention money is a matter of course for our expert team. We can help take the burden from you and take on the collection on your behalf. Our specialist retention collections team aim to take the hassle out of collecting retention owed to you.

Whilst our aim is to prevent the need for you to incur court costs and solicitors fee’s, for cases where civil litigation action is appropriate we work with our trusted partners, Silverback Law.

We will instruct and manage cases on your behalf, leaving you with one point of contact from the start of the collection process to the end. Alternatively you can instruct your own solicitor if that is your preference.
